Privacy Policy

Effective October 5, 2026. This policy covers the Scam Desk Daily website and the Scam Desk Daily Publisher, the private tool used to upload videos to the Scam Desk Daily YouTube channel.

Who this applies to

The Scam Desk Daily Publisher is operated by one person, the owner of the Scam Desk Daily YouTube channel, for that person's own channel. No one else is asked to sign in to it. If you only watch our videos or read this website, the Publisher does not collect anything about you.

What the Publisher accesses

When the channel owner signs in with Google, the Publisher requests one permission: the ability to upload videos to the owner's YouTube channel (the YouTube upload scope). It does not read the owner's email, contacts, viewing history, subscriptions, comments, or analytics, and it does not access any other account.

What is stored

The only Google user data the Publisher stores is the sign-in token that lets it upload on the owner's behalf. The token is kept in a protected file on a private computer controlled by the channel owner. It is not stored on this website, and it is not copied to any other service.

How data is used

The token is used for one purpose: uploading videos that the channel owner has already reviewed and approved. It is not used for advertising, profiling, analytics, or training any machine-learning model, and it is not sold, rented, or shared with anyone.

YouTube API Services

The Publisher uses YouTube API Services. By using it, the channel owner agrees to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy. The Publisher's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Revoking access and deleting data

Access can be removed at any time on the Google account permissions page. Removing access invalidates the stored token. The channel owner can also delete the token file at any time, which ends the Publisher's ability to upload.

This website

This website is static. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and has no forms or accounts. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs, such as IP addresses and request times, under its own privacy policy.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
